Pastor Jay Mullings

Managing Director, Conferences/Conventions, Seminars, Director of Security and Transportation

Pastor Jay Mullings, better described as “God’s Gentle Giant”, is a man called of God with a passion and sensitivity for people’s needs. Born in Matthew Town, Inagua, Bahamas, Jay began early to search for God’s will for his life, but this ended in frustration and disillusionment with the established traditional church. Jay then joined the Royal Bahamas Police Force and after graduating with honours, went on to London, England, where he completed a course in Advanced Detective Training with New Scotland Yard.

Returning home, Jay Mullings worked his way up to the position of Sergeant in the Commercial Crime Section of the Criminal Investigation Department. While with the force, his hunger and desire for God continued to grow until in 1979 when he responded to the Holy Spirit and received Jesus as his Lord. He received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit soon afterwards and began to grow in the Word.
One year later after attending a Bahamas Faith Ministries prayer fellowship, Jay felt God’s call to become a part of this ministry and after much prayer, he received confirmation. Seven years later on the 21st December, 1986, Jay was ordained to the ministry at Bahamas Faith Ministries Diplomat Center.
In late 1994, Ps. Jay was made Director of Bahamas Faith Ministries Home Missions Outreach. A teacher of the Word in his own right, Pas. Jay Mullings is a tremendous blessing to the Body of Christ.

A founding member of BFM’s Board of Governors, he currently serves as Executive Vice-President/Director with responsibility for the National and International Conference, Security, Facilities and Maintenance Departments and the Transportation Ministry.

Pas. Jay’s wife, Euturpia is also deeply involved in the ministry and works closely with the Resource Department. They are the parents of seven children, Deborah, Michelle, Melinda Joy, Kathleen, and Francino, Wilfred and Princess and ten grandchildren.

In 1987, Allan became a part-time employee involved primarily with sound engineering, and he also produced radio programs.

Later Allan resigned from Forsythe’s Communications where he worked in the communications department. At BFM, he worked in the Tape Department alongside Pas. Wesley Smith. He also worked with Debbie Bartlett in the TV Department and soon became the Director of the BFM Media Department.

Allan Munroe was later invited by Dr. Myles Munroe to serve as a member of the BFM Executive Director’s Board and become one of the in-house pastors. He handled all the BFM Staff Personnel maters until 1999, when a full time Human Resource Manager was employed. Then Pas. Allan became more involved in the oversight of the BFM Media Department that now goes beyond radio and television and into millions of homes around the world through the internet’s streaming global television and radio.
