Managing Director, Conferences/Conventions, Seminars, Director of Security and Transportation
Pastor Jay Mullings, better described as “God’s Gentle Giant”, is a man called of God with a passion and sensitivity for people’s needs. Born in Matthew Town, Inagua, Bahamas, Jay began early to search for God’s will for his life, but this ended in frustration and disillusionment with the established traditional church. Jay then joined the Royal Bahamas Police Force and after graduating with honours, went on to London, England, where he completed a course in Advanced Detective Training with New Scotland Yard.
A founding member of BFM’s Board of Governors, he currently serves as Executive Vice-President/Director with responsibility for the National and International Conference, Security, Facilities and Maintenance Departments and the Transportation Ministry.

Pas. Mark Bethel
Director of Fine Arts Division

Mark Bethel is called by God to teach, exhort, and encourage us in praise and worship. He is an established leader with a gift of excellence in praise and worship. His inexhaustible exuberance, explosive and sensitive leadership style, exemplifies him as an extraordinary leader.
Mark’s excellence as a teacher and worship leader coupled with an exemplary lifestyle has brought him invitations from major metropolitan ministries in the U.K. and various parts of Europe, the United States, and the Caribbean and throughout the length and breath of the Bahamas.
Whether solo or part of a group, Mark excels as a leader in praise and worship. He is called to direct, support, and produce training seminars, recordings, and publications about praise and worship. ASAPH Advanced Worship Leadership Training Institute is one such training opportunity that Mark has established, which focuses on helping others to become more aware of the need for cultivating the right environment for attracting the presence of the King.
As a result, Mark has ministered with Shirley Caesar, worked with and opened for anointed ministers like Helen Baylor, the late Rev. James Cleveland, Jesse Dixon, the Hawkins Family, Ron Kenoly, Donnie McClurkin, Andre Crouch, Alvin Slaughter, Phil Driscoll, to name a few.
Mark serves as a pastor and minister of Music at BFMIF. He and his wife, Cyprianna, are the parents of three daughters, Tamara, Tonya and Amari.
