INTERNATIONAL THIRD WORLD
LEADERS ASSOCIATION
(I.T.W.L.A.)

Dr. Myles Munroe, Founder / President
The International Third World Leaders Association's (ITWLA) primary focus is on addressing the unique dynamics of the Third World context. A key concern is that every member is provided with a spiritual, moral and physical support system along with the necessary tools to enhance his/her development and maximization of leadership potential. Seeing the universal need to bring peoples across denominations and cultures together, Dr. Munroe formed the ITWLA and created a forum for cross-cultural exchange.
"Networking" describes the exchange that takes place between the leaders that form the ITWLA. Corporate Executives, Businessmen and Women, Pastors, Politicians, Athletes, Civic Leaders, have all found their place in this organization.
As the vision for the ITWLA became more refined, Dr. Munroe began to bring together the Executive Council, which consists of a number of leaders from Zimbabwe, USA, Guyana and Jamaica. The First Vice President, Rev. Turnel Nelson came to the Executive Council sharing a desire to see leaders raised up from within the Third World.
With an international membership of almost 700, the IJWLA is expanding rapidly, drawing from all walks of life. Membership includes Central, South and West Africa, Central and South America, Europe, Australia, USA, the Caribbean, India and Israel. As well as attracting membership, the ITWLA hosts conferences around the globe and at the Diplomat Center in Nassau. Dr. Munroe has addressed parliaments, nation's Presidents and Kings. Such Audiences do not look to the organization because of its religious background, but to the principles taught by Dr. Munroe and other ITWLA leaders that reach into the very heart of man regardless of religion, politics or socio-economic background.
Based on the philosophy that "trapped within every follower is an untapped leader," the ITWLA is also the ideal environment for the emerging leader. The organization provides access to resources and international networking of relationships that enhance personal maximization of leadership potential.
The vision of Bahamas Faith Ministries International continues to grow through the International Third World Leaders Association. The ITWLA has produced several publications, newsletters and magazines. These publications are resources for ITWLA members, keeping them up-to-date worldwide within the association. Also the Magazine and Update serve as a showcase for new resources produced within the organization by its members.
As Bahamas Faith Ministries International moves into the 21st Century, the International Third World Leaders Associations membership is soaring.
