International Leadership Training Institute

The 21st Century's greatest challenge is quality leadership. A brief overview of the latter part of the 20th century gives evidence of the tremendous leadership vacuum prevailing throughout the world today. Whether it is in the post modern, highly technical societies the most important assignment of the believer is to 'disciple the nations.' The word 'nations' comes from the Greek word 'ethnos' which means 'common groupings!' Discipleship of the nations more precisely means discipleship of common groupings of disciplines. Discipling every discipline should be the goal of the Church. This takes wisdom, diplomacy and skill. Just as every ethnic grouping has its own language and culture, so too does every discipline, whether it be the world of entertainment, business, education, politics, or the world of medicine.

The harvest is plentiful but the labourers are few,' due to lack of training. Dr. Munroe, emphasizes that these missing elements in the Church today can only be brought into existence through people who are trained scholastically and spiritually in leadership under the covering of a church. They will then have the foundation to be effective laborers in the marketplace of the world. The International Leadership Training Institute is an environment for such training.

The industrial states or the underdeveloped, third world countries, the absence of sound, effective quality leaders is the same. Questions of integrity, morality, genuine concern, compassion, honesty, loyalty, character, spiritual sensitivity, competence and skill hang like clouds over the horizon of the 21st century.

The International Leadership Training Institute is dedicated to the task of providing a place for their identification, development, refinement and deployment of world-class quality leaders committed to the highest ideal of morality, principle, Christian values and Biblical foundations. This Leadership Institute is the 21st Century center for leadership studies. I urge you to accept the challenge of developing and maximizing your leadership potential to serve your generation. The main goal of the Institute is to prepare its students to fulfill their purpose, and reach their place of destiny with a spirit of excellence in leadership. With this type of preparation, students will be equipped to enter every man's world or discipline.

At the foundation of such training is the curriculum developed by the Administrator and Provost of the International Leadership Training Institute, Dr. Lucile Richardson. It addresses the issues of the Third World experience head on, going beyond the technical, scientific and academic areas, to the heart of the oppressed mind, restoring a sense of purpose, potential and value to the student. Dr. Richardson became the first employee of the the Institute as of January 1, 1998, and is directly responsible for the leadership curriculum, program development and the administrative aspects of the Leadership Training Institute.
